Army Energy Storage Challenge Program in Wearable Batteries for Soldiers

This meeting will focus on a tentative ARL funded challenge program to develop a safe, nonflammable, contoured (flexible) battery to wear on a soldier platform (Vest, cummerbund). We have speakers lined up from PM SWAR, MCOE-Protection, ARL, including a talk by the PM SWAR shop on a Soldier Power Sprint program meeting later this winter.

You can visit via the Green Line on the Metro.  At the College Park Metro Station exit east and up the stairs.  The UM Shuttle #104 bus stop is located on the inner bus loop.  Exit at the 4th stop (1st stop on campus) will be at the corner of Stadium Dr and Paint Branch Dr.  The Jeong H. Kim Engineering Building is located on the north-west corner of the intersection.
